Homeland Security Tactical Integration System

Homeland Security

Ultra Electronics’ Homeland Security Tactical Integration (HSTI) system enables Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and law enforcement agencies to create a network of integrated systems that can share both real-time and non-real-time intelligence information from the tactical edge and back to operations centers.

The HSTI system combines field-proven, MIL-STD, rugged COTS hardware with the most sophisticated situational awareness software available to integrate:

  • USCG and CBP OAM aircraft and vessels
  • DHS aircraft
  • Military partners (such as Northcom and National Guard)
  • Tactical edge nodes (field operators)
  • Fixed and mobile operations centers
  • Fusion centers

The HSTI system creates a Common Operational Picture (COP) by providing access to the most widely used U.S. and coalition data network for situational awareness, the ability to push tactical communications BLOS, as well as data management and routing services. The system can also integrate various and disparate radio or communications equipment, including:

  • All forms of military grade tactical data links
  • Automatic Identification System (AIS) (maritime identification)
  • Joint Tactical Radio Services (JTRS)
  • Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)/
  • Radio over Internet Protocol (RoIP)
  • High-bandwidth IP
  • Up/down-link via Common Data Link
  • (CDL), Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TTNT), Highband Networking Waveform (HNW)
  • Sensors inputs
  • Non-real-time intelligence feeds
